Import from Simple Analytics

Export your pages CSV from Simple Analytics and upload it to GhostlyX to keep your historical pageview data.

Scale plan required

Historical data import is available on the Scale plan. You must be a site owner or admin to access the Import Data page.

Export your data from Simple Analytics

Simple Analytics provides a data export from within the dashboard. You can download a CSV of your top pages with their pageview counts.

Open Simple Analytics

Set the date range

Use the date range selector to choose the full period you want to import. Select the earliest date your site was tracked through to today.

Open the Pages section

Scroll down to the Pages table on your dashboard.

Export as CSV

Click the Export or Download CSV button in the Pages section. Simple Analytics will generate and download your file.

Expected CSV format

GhostlyX reads the page and pageviews columns from Simple Analytics exports.

Open your site dashboard

Go to your GhostlyX dashboard and open the site you are importing into.

Click Import Data

In the site toolbar, click the Import Data button.

Select source

Choose Simple Analytics from the source dropdown.

Upload the CSV

Click Choose file, select the Simple Analytics CSV, and click Start import.

Wait for processing

The import runs in the background. Track progress on the Import Data page.
